Leaving a better beverage imprint

The beginning of 2020 saw the Molson Coors Brewing Company evolve, beginning the next stage of their journey as the Molson Coors Beverage Company. This new chapter reflects the innovations the company has made beyond beer while still upholding their rich, 250-year legacy as brewers.

Celebrating the old with the new

The challenge

Flag has been working with Molson Coors since 2016, developing their annual corporate responsibility reports. Building on this partnership, in 2020 we were posed with the challenge to develop a report that celebrated the previous year’s sustainability achievements while simultaneously announcing the launch of Molson Coors’ refreshed identity.

A holistic approach to reporting

The process

To mark the transition, we helped to launch the 2020 Our Imprint Report, providing engaging copy and a clean, magazine-style design that aligned with the company’s new brand identity. A one-minute video was developed for internal use, introducing Our Imprint and Molson Coors’ key sustainability efforts to employees. We also produced an ESG Report that contained in-depth information on how Molson Coors progressed against their most material issues in 2019, tailored for their investor and analyst audiences.

Leaving an imprint for a better tomorrow

The solution

Sporting a new tagline – ‘Our Imprint: For a Better Tomorrow’ – and logo, both of which Flag helped to develop, the 2020 report details Molson Coors’ progress against their 2025 sustainability goals. It also describes what the company’s future looks like as Molson Coors expands into the wider beverage market. A range of case studies and stories were developed to highlight how Molson Coors are bringing their values to life and progressing against their 2025 goals in every area of business, from factory improvements to supporting communities during COVID-19.

Simply amazing, everyone. These reports, tools and videos are so well done. It’s an absolute pleasure working with Flag. Your partnership, thought leadership and collaborative spirit are bar none.
