  • Account Director, Sustainability Communications

    US

    We are looking for a sustainability communications account director (junior or middleweight) to join our growing team of vibrant and passionate account directors in the US.

    The ideal candidate will be experienced in:

    • leading teams to produce outstanding and impactful communications
    • developing one- to three-year communications plans, including stakeholder-specific engagement pieces
    • media planning for social, and as a bonus traditional, platforms
    • experienced in event planning and launches, both physical and digital
    • experienced in identifying, pursuing and converting new business opportunities.

    Sustainability-related graduate and post-graduate qualifications a bonus, as would be knowledge and experience of sustainability strategy and reporting.

    The locations

    This role can be fully remote or part office-based. We have an office in mid-town Manhattan. Travel to client meetings in the US will be required.

  • Account Director, Sustainability Strategy and Reporting

    UK and US

    We are looking for sustainability strategy and reporting account directors to join our growing team of vibrant and passionate account directors in the UK (two vacancies) and the US (two vacancies).

    The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience, either agency or in-house, and an unbridled enthusiasm to help businesses be better through sustainability strategy and reporting, and communicating both on and offline with their stakeholders.

    The ideal candidates will be:

    • experienced in working with multinational clients and leading internal teams to produce outstanding sustainability strategies, including goal setting and KPI dashboards, reports and impactful communications
    • knowledgeable about international methodologies and reporting frameworks and standards, such as the GRI, SASB, IIRC reporting framework and ESG reporting indices
    • familiar with sustainability materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement processes
    • confident in workshop planning and facilitation
    • experienced in identifying, pursuing and converting new business opportunities, including leading presentations and pitches.

    Experience in developing one- to three-year communications plans and relevant assets would be a bonus.

    The ideal candidate will have qualifications and/or work experience background in sustainability and will support the account direction team to:

    • produce research and insights to support a range of projects from reports to employee engagement to materiality

    • compiling media lists, media pitching and media results

  • Account Manager

    US

    Are you looking for a career managing sustainability communications projects for leading brands and global organisations? We are looking for an account manager to join our team of bright, vibrant and passionate account managers.

    The ideal candidate will be:

    • experienced in managing online (and print) communications projects
    • skilled in producing cost estimates and schedules, and managing multiple projects and deadlines to the highest standards
    • demonstrably capable of managing multi-role teams, including designers, artworkers, web developers, copywriters, proofreaders, photographers and illustrators

  • Design Director

    UK

    We are looking for a Design Director to join our team of vibrant and passionate creatives in the UK.

    The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position in a busy creative communications agency serving multinational clients and leading brands.

    You will:

    • have an outstanding record of providing creative solutions to briefs
    • be competent in information design ‒ able to disseminate complex content for a wide range of audiences
    • work with our creative director and other design directors to ensure Flag’s output is truly outstanding
    • enjoy working with a variety of clients across multiple projects
    • lead and oversee other designers in the development process
