- The Group employs 120,000 people, and has 5.5 million members and over 4,800 high street outlets.
- Through its Community Plan, The Co-operative Group places particular focus on combating climate change, tackling global poverty, and inspiring young people.
What we did
The Co-operative Group has long been known for the transparency and breadth of its disclosure. Flag has worked with the Co-operative Group on its sustainability reporting since 2007 and the 2008/09 report was a runner-up in the Best Report category of the 2010 Corporate Register Reporting Awards. The 2010 print report, aligned with the GRI G3 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines at Level A+, is a very thorough document with considerable amounts of complex data.
Flag also designed two summary reports – one each for the Group and The Co-operative’s financial services business – to complete a stylish suite of documents.
