The client
- Chelsea and Westminster became an NHS Foundation Trust in October 2006.
- It serves the local population of Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster, and parts of Fulham, Putney, Wandsworth and Battersea, and provides specialist services for a wider catchment area.
- According to the 2008 NHS annual performance ratings, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is the best-performing NHS acute hospital Trust in north-west London.
What we did
Under the Trust's ‘Choose Chelsea and Westminster’ sub-brand, Flag assisted with the development of a directory of children’s services. The Trust was looking to become the leading regional provider of paediatric care, so the publication needed to provide GPs with a handy reference guide to the full range of children’s services available and to raise the profile of these services.
The 74-page, A5 booklet – one of the first publications to carry the new branding – was compiled by a freelance medical editor in partnership with the Trust’s clinicians, and was supported by leaflets and posters to build reputation and raise awareness among parents.
